The Institute of Chartered Loss Control and Private Security Management Act [Chapter 27:23] was enacted by the Parliament of Zimbabwe to establish the Institute as a body corporate, provide for the governance, registration, licensing, and professional standards of loss control and private security practitioners, and establish disciplinary oversight across all security occupations.

The Act [Chapter 27:23] is primary legislation enacted by Parliament creating the statutory framework. Detailed procedural schedules, application forms, disciplinary procedures, and membership designations are promulgated under the subsidiary Institute of Chartered Loss Control and Private Security Management (Registration) Regulations, 2026.
